Multiverse received $70 million investment at a $2.1 billion valuation

According to Financial Times’ news, target=”_blank”> Multiverse, received an investment of 70 million dollars. The London-based company’s investment round included Schroders Capital, Index Ventures, General Catalyst, Lightspeed Venture Partners and D1 Capital. Founded in 2016, Multiverse’s valuation rose to $2.1 billion.

The company announced that it will use the new investment to expand artificial intelligence-focused workforce training and accelerate growth in Europe.

Multiverse was founded in 2016 by Euan Blai, son of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and Sophie Adelman.  The company is defined as an education technology initiative that establishes an assistantship and apprenticeship-based education system within companies by offering young people and employees an alternative model to university.

Unlike traditional university education, it matches individuals directly with companies and engages them in a work-based learning model. In this process, it aims to help them gain skills through real business projects by providing both coaching and mentoring.

Multiverse focuses on reshaping the workforce, especially in the areas of artificial intelligence, data and digital skills. The company has trained approximately 30 thousand people to date by collaborating with large institutions such as Microsoft, John Lewis and M&S. While Multiverse earned revenue of 79.6 million pounds in the 2025 financial year, it announced a loss of 62.4 million pounds.
